I do wonder how other plural systems see their headmates, like, do you have an actual space where you can imagine or see them? How do you communicate? Are your voices different? How do you know who's fronting?


@ChlorideCull for our system we have a space that's completely detached from the physical. our own forms are informed by our own image of ourselves in the brain, but we mostly strengthen it with outside sources (which is not really impeded since we're a fictive-heavy system). we communicate both in headspace and directly (especially to whoever's in front). we have a rule that you NEED to signal you're fronting whenever you do it on purpose. accidents obv are excluded
